The Graduate School is very pleased to announce our upcoming Graduate Education Week, a week-long series of events dedicated to promoting graduate education and highlighting the achievements of our current graduate students here at the College of Charleston. Graduate Education Week will start on Wednesday, January 22 with an Open House Breakfast hosted by the Graduate Studies Office. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to stop by the Graduate School Office on the third floor of Randolph Hall to grab a quick bite as we kick off the week’s activities.
Throughout the week, there will various events in which prospective students can learn more about the graduate programs offered by the College of Charleston. Many programs will be hosting open houses, lunch and learn information sessions, and other informal gatherings for interested students to meet with program directors and current students to discuss specific programs. Other informational sessions will be held throughout the week to provide students with more opportunities to learn about maximizing the potential of their graduate experience. In conjunction with Career Services, we will be hosting two workshops specifically dedicated to networking and career building strategies for prospective undergraduate students and current graduate students alike. Other meetings will focus on the student assistantships and international opportunities available for students.
The week will conclude with the Graduate Research Poster Session on Wednesday, January 29th where selected graduate students will present the culmination of their various research endeavors.
