If you are planning to take summer courses taught through The Citadel, either for transfer credit or as part of a joint degree program, please keep in mind that the first day of class is as much as a week and a half earlier than courses taught in the equivalent term through the College of Charleston.
We don’t want you to show up for a Maymester course offered through The Citadel on May 15th, when the class actually started on May 6th!
Courses offered jointly by both schools do have the correct date range listed in the College of Charleston system, and it should be showing up correctly on your schedule if you have registered for one of those courses.
For your reference, the summer term start dates for both schools are listed below:
|Summer Course Start Dates
|Maymester||May 6||May 15|
|Summer I Evening (Citadel)
May Evening (CofC)
|May 6||May 14|
|Summer I Day||May 28||June 5|
|Summer II Evening (Citadel)
Summer Evening (CofC)
|June 24||July 1|
|Summer II Day||July 1||July 11|
