What Our Alumni Do

As much as we like to extol the virtues of a graduate degree on our blog and social media sites, nothing speaks louder than the actions of our alumni. They’re prominent leaders, educators, and scholars, and they’re working to change the world in the South Carolina Lowcountry and beyond. Here’s what a few of them are up to right now:

Sandon Barth (Master of Public Administration, 2003) is a Territory Manager for Zoll Cardiac Management Solutions, a leading producer of AED and cardiac resuscitation devices.

Emily Cooper (M.S. Marine Biology, 2007) was recently hired as Research Technician in the College of Charleston’s Department of Biology.

Angela Jones (M.S. Environmental Studies, 2005) is a 2011 Fellow in GreenFaith’s National Fellowship Program, where she is receiving training in the subjects of eco-theology, “greening” institutional operations, environmental advocacy, and environmental justice.

Kellee McGahey (M.A. Communication, 2010) is the Senior Vice President of Marketing for First Federal, one of the three largest financial institutions headquartered in South Carolina. She oversees the bank’s marketing and communications, and she is the founder of Charleston Young Professionals.

Sana Ndon (M.S. Computer and Information Sciences, 2010) is working in the College of Charleston’s Department of Institutional Research as a Data and Reporting Analyst.

Reginald Raab (M.A.T. Elementary Education, 2001) recently published a novel for grades 5-9 entitled Surviving Me.

Vincent Vizcaino (M.A. Interpreting) is working in the Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner.

I graduated in 2001 from the Interpreting MA program but I am not serving as a Commissioner for Conflict of Interest and Ethics in the House of Commons.
