Help Us Host Poetry Out Loud 2015

We’re hosting the S.C. Region 3 Poetry Out Loud competition once again this year and we’re looking forward to another great turnout from the English Department.

Join us on Sunday January 25 at 1:30 PM in the Stern Center Ballroom.

11 students from area high schools will be reciting poetry by John Donne, Christina Rosetti, Wallace Stevens, Lisel Muller, Jamaal May, William Wordsworth, Billy Collins, and more. Contest judges are Conseula Francis and Jonathan Heinen. ASL interpreters will add to our experience of the spoken word, and C of C students will play music and read original poetry.
