Alumna Jamie Carr Wins Short Story Contest

Cheers to Jamie Carr (’12) for winning the Rick DeMarinis Short Story Prize for her short story, “Chicken”!  The story was selected by Pam Houston, and it will be published in Cutthroat literary journal.

Jamie is completing her MFA in Fiction Writing at Portland State University, and her writing also has appeared in The Portland Review and The Lettered Olive.
