The 13th Annual Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival, Nov. 7-10

The Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival is coming, November 7-10. The festival, now in its 13th year, will showcase several recently released Italian films, including the award-winning documentary 1938 – Diversi (2018), which deals with the troubling 80th anniversary of Italy’s Promulgation of the Fascist Racial Laws, and Piranhas (2019), which tells the story of young men in Naples who serve in “paranzas” (piranhas)–armed groups in service of the organized crime syndicate known as the Cammora.
