Amelia R. Conte: Academic Advisor

My office is in the Academic Advising and Planning Center, located in the Lightsey Center, Suite 247.  It is on the second floor near the Registrar and Career Center.  Also, the Center for Disability Services is on the first floor in Lightsey.

I love working at the College of Charleston and I genuinely want to help students! My own educational background consists of a B.A. in Sociology and M.Ed. in Higher Education Student Services. I am originally from Savannah, GA so I am not too far from home now but I love to travel! Some of my favorite spots include Dublin (Ireland), Lisboa (Portugal), NYC and Cape Cod (where my husband is from).  One of my favorite quotes is: A college degree is not a sign that one is a finished product but an indication a person is prepared for life.
