20-59 1.80 (if you are below this GPA you must take EDLS in the spring)
60 and up 2.00 (if you are below this GPA you must take EDLS in the spring)

* If your cumulative GPA is below 2.0 at the end of fall and you are a provisional student you are required to take EDLS-100 in the spring semester. This is stated in your provisional contract you signed at orientation.

Sept. 14 through Oct. 2 are reserved dates for any transfer student to have a mandatory (but still quite pleasant) meeting with your AAPC advisor to plan for Spring 2010 and discuss your transition to CofC. Please call the AAPC to schedule an appointment 843-953-5981.
Freshman appointments to plan for Spring 2010 will start right after that!!

Fall 2009 registration will be closed to all undergraduate students, except assigned orientation students, for specific dates throughtout the summer. During the periods when registration is closed, if you wish to drop a course, send an email from your Edisto account to registrar@cofc.edu listing your full name, student ID number and course(s) you wish to drop. Please note you must wait until registration opens to add a course to your schedule.
The drop/add deadline for Fall and Express I is Monday, August 31st.

History requirement: six semester hours. Complete one course in pre-modern history and one course in modern history from the list of approved courses satisfying the history requirement. The two courses do not have to be taken from the same department or in sequence.
