Charleston based Issue Management, Corporate Communications/Events and Fundraising firm is seeking a Public Relations Intern
15 hours per week/flexible schedule.
Paid internship.
Prefer fall and spring semester commitment.
Role:
Assistant company co-founders with servicing a number of clients with a variety of public relation needs – to include research, writing op-eds, op-ed placements, writing letters to the editor for client or supporters signature, planning and implementing press events, proposing additional earned media ideas, interfacing with various media outlets on behalf of the clients, managing social media messaging, developing strategic communications plans and compiling PR activities for client reports.
Candidate should be self motivated and able to present well.
Must be very organized and able to work without day-to-day supervision.
