Planned Parenthood Health Systems, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, responsible, outgoing, creative, pro-choice person with political experience to lead the organization’s field organizing in SC. The Field Director (referred to as Director from here on out) will work closely with the Vice President of Public Affairs and contract lobbyist to conduct strategic, targeted grassroots field campaigns and programs while building capacity and infrastructure. The Director will identify and organize a new generation of members and supporters, educating them about the politics of women’s health care, and building a powerful organization that will support the goals of PP to ensure that all women have access to the health services they require. The Field Director is responsible for planning and coordinating all PP field activities in coordination with and in support of our legislative and electoral goals in coordination with other departments across the organization as well as with the various SC coalitions. Proficiency in targeted grassroots field organizing and online grassroots communication is a must.
