Reservations Agent at The Sanctuary

Summary:

The Social Sales Coordinator will provide friendly, professional and individualized service, while adhering to all Triple A Five Diamond and Forbes 5 Star standards.  The agent will create and sell a complete stay for the guest, personalized to match each of the guests’ interests and desires, while utilizing all of the hotel & resort’s amenities.

Responsibilities:

The Social Sales Coordinator is responsible for the leisure sales of The Sanctuary Hotel.  Responsible for providing pricing and package information on accommodations and special events, in addition to Kiawah’s five championship golf courses, spa, and dining outlets.  Sales are taken from inbound calls as well as internal and external leads.  The position requires an enthusiastic and outgoing individual that is driven to meet sales goals and has a passion for the luxury travel market. Works closely with all Front Office departments, such as Front Desk, Leisure Services and Concierge.

Education and Experience:

High School graduate required. College degree preferred. Previous sales experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to multi task, work well under pressure, detail oriented, and strong communication skills. Strong computer skills with experience in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Essential Physical Requirements:

Work in a seated environment for 90% of shift. 90% – verbally communicates with guests through phone conversations
