Internship with XPO Logistics (Charlotte, NC)

If you have a passion for social media and want to get hands-on experience with applied marketing principles, you’ll be a great fit for our summer Recruitment Marketing and Social Media internship. Over the course of 8-12 weeks, you’ll help us develop and deploy recruitment marketing campaigns designed to attract highly skilled people to our doors. We will give you the tools and resources you need to build a career you can be proud of.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Engage and communicate effectively with other professionals throughout the organization
- Participate in team meetings and projects
- Assist with content creation such as social media posts, short form videos, Instagram stories, etc.
- Conduct marketing research into our highest need hiring areas to determine the best ways to attract top-level talent to our company
- Assist in reporting and analytics
- Build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with internal and external customers, and provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
It’d be great if you also have:
- Education toward a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, HR or Business
- Availability to travel occasionally
- Experience with social media channels
- Strong attention to detail with analytical skills
- Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and get along with diverse personalities
