Position Description: (This is a paid internship.) Lou Hammond Group is seeking a social media intern this fall! This position will be within our Charleston, SC office. For nearly 40 years, LHG has been an integrated marketing communications company with offices in New York, Charleston, Houston, Denver, Atlanta, and Tampa, representing clients in the travel, lifestyle, hospitality and business sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, engage and post on social networks
- Assist in content creation
- Research and stay up to date on social media marketing trends
- Assist in paid social media efforts
- Research for influencer marketing and relations
Requirements:
- Communications or Marketing major
- 2-3 years of experience with Internet and social media platforms
- Solid understanding of youth markets
- Energetic and creative
- Strong attention to detail and copyediting
- Hard-working and team-oriented
