For 9 weeks as a Creative Advertising Marketing Intern at our Home Office in Plano, TX you will gain a basic understanding of each phase in the Creative Marketing process while supporting the needs of our Creative Marketing team. You will support the brand development of our Marketing initiatives and will create art execution for print, digital and social channels among other design needs on a variety of projects.You’ll also have the opportunity to engage with leadership and other associates who will mentor and coach you to success through projects and hands on training.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the execution for print and digital advertising initiatives and brings graphic design skills with regard to designing and typography and executes advertising for direct mail and digital.
  • Learns brand style guidelines and collaborates with team members to convert these ideas into effective retail advertising design and photography to promote immediate sales and achieve the Company’s fashion/brand image goals.
  • Learns to extract vital information from technical briefs and style guidelines and converts into exciting advertising design that will motivate potential customers to buy.
  • Develops aesthetic sensitivity required to judge layout, type and photography.

Core Competencies and Accomplishments:

  • Current college junior status with major in Marketing, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or Advertising preferred.
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience or knowledge of graphic design and layout execution for social, digital or print.
  • Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles; ability to portray a high taste level in all communication arts.
  • Working knowledge of InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustration and other MAC based applications and design programs.
  • Passion for detail and strong visualization skills.
