The time commitment would be 10-15 hours per week, unpaid, and would give you an opportunity to work with a nonprofit in all aspects of the organization.

The HTMT Department will host representatives of the Mandarin Oriental, Washington, DC in the Tate Center Gallery on Wednesday, September 23rd.

The Center for Public Choice and Market Process advances the understanding of the economic, political, and moral foundations of a free market economy. The Center supports the growth and development of teaching and research at the College of Charleston School of Business, while engaging students and the greater Charleston business community.
The Center for Public Choice and Market Process is seeking a student to assist the director with the media and communications of the Center. Duties would include:
- Videotaping lectures
- Photographing events
- Editing and posting videos
- Maintaining FB page
The qualified candidate should have basic knowledge of videography and photography, and be extremely well organized and responsible. The position should take between 5-10 hours a week throughout the semester and pays $10 an hour. In addition, the student would be encouraged to attend and participate in Center events.

The John Tecklenburg for Mayor campaign is proud to offer students the opportunity to work for our campaign and earn credit while gaining experience alongside our professional staff. Interns perform a regular mix of the duties, depending on the day and our rapidly changing needs. By the end of their internship, students will be able to:
1. Work efficiently and effectively in a high-pressure office environment.
2. Understand Mr. Tecklenburg’s platform on all relevant campaign issues.
3. Articulate Mr. Tecklenburg’s platform in a persuasive manner to a diverse array of potential voters in a wide variety of contexts.
4. Develop their ability to provide input on successes and areas for growth in a campaign.
5. Understand the unique challenges of low-budget campaigning over a large geographical area.
6. Develop a familiarity and competence with a variety of modern campaign software.

The Association for Women in Sports Media is a non-profit organization founded as a support network and advocacy group for women in sports journalism. They work to promote and increase diversity in sports media through our summer internship/scholarship program, which has placed more than 140 women in paid internships since 1990.
They have seven internships that go along with seven scholarships available for next summer: four newspaper/magazine/online, one broadcast, one broadcast production, and one public relations.
Recipients receive a $1,000 scholarship and complimentary registration and lodging at AWSM’s convention next year in Miami.

Description: Full-service marketing agency seeking rock star interns to complete our team. Day to day tasks range from writing blog posts, tracking media placements, contributing to ad campaigns, participating in client meetings, creating social media content, client and competitive research, website management, drafting press releases and/or assisting in event production.
Qualifications: An enthusiastic, ready to learn attitude is a must. Working knowledge of all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube + more), good (really good) writing skills, ability to work independently and take initiative and complete tasks in a timely manner. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop to assist with design projects is not required, but definitely a plus.
