Welcome Back!

1:00: What’s New in Wine?

Mike van Beyer and Brent Beam of Bottles Beverage Store, Mt. Pleasant

We will kick off the CCR season with something special!

The first hour will be a lecture on wine – what’s new in the wine world. This informative presentation will be given by Mike van Beyer, owner, and Brent Beam, manager, of Bottles Beverage in Mount Pleasant.

2:00: Wine Tasting, CCR Overview and Welcome Back Social

The 1:00 program will be followed by a wine tasting where you will be able to sample small amounts of the wines discussed during the lecture. Both Mike and Brent are extremely knowledgeable about wines and are available to answer all your questions. You will also have an opportunity to place case-lot orders for wines that you will then pick up at the Mount Pleasant store.

To help all of us learn about the exciting year we have planned for CCR, tables will be set up around the rooms with information about the CCR Fall line-up of Field Trips; Study Groups and Book Discussions. CCR’s Historian will also have a table displaying photographs, documents and memorabilia from our organization’s 21-year history.

For those of you who have not already registered, you will have the opportunity to register and pay for your membership at this time.

And there will be time to enjoy visiting with each other.
Note: The Social Committee will have a table of appetizers and we will have water, ice tea, and coffee as usual.
