I decided to start up a blog so I could offer all my helpful, revealing tips based on knowing what college students would be interested in reading such as how to save their money and making money. While I had extra time on my hands, time not spent on just doing school work for once, I really started searching around on the web and found that there are afforable places out there and there are plenty of jobs available.

I would HIGHLY suggest searching all through craigslist. I’m sure many of you guys have done this, but actually take the time to send out your resumes to the job opportunities posted. Tons of people I know have gotten babysitting jobs that pay very well, as well as personal assistant part/full time positions and intern opennings. But beware that craigslist does become very addicting and you will find yourself constantly searching through it or at least it has for me.

Also, the Mt. Pleasant area has just recently opened about 5 new restaurants (all of them are located off of Coleman Blvd.) who are hiring for bartenders, waitresses/waiters, and hostess spots. I know that Mt. Pleasant is about 15 minutes away, if you include traffic, but the money is very good and consistent in the Mt. Pleasant area. I know this because I have worked at places like Off the Hook and Red Drum and made good money. For finding a affordable apartment, I would recommend searching Charleston Apartments with the Charleston Apartment Finder.

And the last thing I would like to share with you guys is that I recently drove over to Marshall’s and Tj-Max, which I found CRAZY highly known designer brands, especially in Marshall’s. Brands like Juice, HOBO purses, Betsey Johnston, BCBG, Roxy, Element, Coach, Diesel (guys), and lots more. I had never thought to go into these stores and actually found out that they have insane steals! I love my designer clothes just as much as the next person but I could not believe all that they had in stock that was so cheap. My advise is to go CHECK IT OUT!

I might have just written about things that you already knew and have known for a lot time. But for the people learning this for the first time, I would like to say your welcome ! I hope I could have helped at least one person with these helpful tips or suggestions.
