Last year, the College launched MarketPlace, a TouchNet U.Commerce platform. The comprehensive commerce management system is tailored specifically for colleges and universities. U.Commerce helps institutions achieve more secure and efficient operations by providing a unified framework with which to administer electronic payments and related business transactions.

Since its inception, MarketPlace has been hosting storefronts for the Writer’s Conference and the Math Department’s Math Meet. The service allows the Treasurer’s Office to safely accept credit cards remotely for services, products, conferences, etc.

David Katz, Treasurer at the College, was asked to participate in an upcoming TouchNet webinar.
