Students often use the first test of the semester to test their own test preparation and test taking skills: “Are the methods and strategies I am using working for me?” If the answer is “no”, it may be time to make some changes, so the results on the second test aren’t a carbon copy of the first test! students will have the opportunity to replenish their test preparation and test taking toolbox with New Strategies for both Objective and Essay Tests. We will focus on Tips to Try Before, During, and After the Test, and will emphasize Strategies that Encourage Thinking Critically, as opposed to simply memorizing mountains of material.
