Spring registration days are winding down.  If you have not scheduled your Spring 2010 advising appointment please call 843-953-5981 and schedule an appointment today!

First year students and first semester Transfer students:  I know it is hard to believe but it is time to start planning for Spring 2010 courses.  Here is what you need to do to prepare for and schedule your mandatory advising appointment:  

1. Click on this link to prepare for your semester advising appointment:  http://advising.cofc.edu/student-resources/getting-the-most.php  IMPORTANT:  Make sure you arrive for your advising appointment well prepared!  Bring a list of course ideas.
2. Spring course registration is done according to earned hours (this does not include what you are currently taking).  Click on this link to find out when you will be registering for classes:  http://registrar.cofc.edu/entrytimes.html  Not sure how many earned credit hours you have?  Click on your unofficial transcript in Cougar Trail and look under EHRS.
3. Call 843-953-5981 and speak to our scheduler about making an appointment with me (please do not email me to make an appointment).

Please note:  During their first academic year, students will have mandatory advising appointments before they can register for classes. Depending on your situation, a registration hold will be placed on your account. You will not be able to register for courses in the following semester until this hold is cleared.  I will clear your hold when we meet for Spring planning.   I look forward to seeing you soon!
