VoiceThread Training Coming Up!
I have scheduled VoiceThread training for October 21st and 24th. For more info on the training check out the Training page. If you want to attend, make sure to RSVP to me because I have limited space.
So what is VoiceThread you may ask? Well it’s one application with many uses. VoiceThread is a fully online application that allows you to upload images or videos then “comment” on them. The comments can come in many forms: text, voice-over, video voice-over. It has so much potential for education. It even has some security features that lends it to use in a K-12 environment as well.
Some possible educational uses are:
- Visual Discussion Board – Art or Art History – display artwork and allow the class to comment and annotate on the image
- Easy video creation
- Online storytelling/story creation.
- Demonstrations, such as mathcasts, using the doodle feature.
- Online debates.
