The Avery Research Center would like to welcome Aaisha Haykal to the staff! She is a HistoryMaker fellow who will be working closely with our archival team and hails from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s MLIS program where she specialized in Community Informatics. Haykal’s fellowship extends through June 2012.
Haykal will be taking over the “Eyes on the Prize” Blog for the next few weeks as well. Read about her discoveries processing two collections, the Humane and Friendly Society and the Lecque Family Papers.
