Support & Giving: Inaugural Alumni Brunch Honors Program Luminaries

In May, faculty, staff, graduating seniors, and alumni of the Arts Management Program gathered inside the Hill Gallery within the Cato Center to celebrate our inaugural Alumni Affair event!

As part of the celebration, our Program took the opportunity to formally launch the Scott Shanklin-Peterson Internship Endowment, and to honor both Judith Allen, whose lead gift helped to create the Endowment, and Scott Shanklin-Peterson, for whom the Endowment is named.

Allen, a seasoned arts administrator who also currently serves as an adjunct faculty member, established the Scott Shanklin-Peterson Internship Endowment to commemorate the retirement of her friend and colleague, Scott Shanklin-Peterson, who served as director of the Arts Management Program for more than a decade. The endowment offers stipends for students who complete internships for course credit in addition to both attending the College and working either full or part time.

Check out photos from the event below, and don’t forget to mark your calendars for our Second Annual Alumni Gathering on May 6, 2018!
