WEEK 11–Ralph Ellison 1

NOTE: I have created a new blog category (The “Great” American Novel) where we will make our respective cases for our post-Thanksgiving book, which will be chosen by class vote.  Your quiz grade for this week involves a brief post (100+ words) by Wednesday evening in which you present an argument for your personal choice. You can choose a book outside the 1900-1965 range, but you’ll have to convince us why we’d stray beyond the class’s stipulated range. If someone has already made the case for your choice, you can simply add your support to that choice via a comment on their post. We will briefly discuss these posts on Friday, and vote on the following Monday (11/5)
