Boys with a Purpose is an amazing program in Charleston that was started by Raymond Nelson III and Mr. Kenneth Joyner. The purpose of this after school club is to “teach young men how to dress, conduct themselves like gentlemen and ultimately find their purpose in life.” They partner with the College of Charleston and meet weekly there after school. Their motto is “look good, do good, feel good.” They engage their kids in the community and better the young men that are a part of the program. They help give them guidance and support as they grow up. They have been featured on CBS News, Huffington Post, The Steve Harvey Show and in a Nutella “Spread the Happy” campaign.
